François caught the financial services bug more than 12 years ago. Francois is one of the two founders of Impact. He is deeply involved with the support and training of Impact’s advisors and develops unique and personalized financial planning tools.

Today, François is the head financial planner within the firm: he coordinates professional activities and ensures that mandates are fulfilled within the best timeframes.

Professional History

After having studied in political science and communication, François began his career teaching high school students. Deeply involved in the field of education, he helped create non-profit organizations to finance projects for the schools in his neighbourhood. With years of social involvement and eagerness to learn more about the finance world, he decided, in 1997, to make the jump to a new career. At first a trainee and then an agent for Industrial Alliance, François became a financial security advisor, independent financial planner, and mutual fund representative for the financial services firm, SFL Investments.

Expertise

François has acquired an expertise in all that relates to retirement planning. He has also written many articles on topics related to personal finances. He also supports advisors who use Planist’s tools, a sister company of Impact co-founded with Alain Parent.
